Internships
- Serve as assistant staff in athletic communications within the athletics department.
- Participate in the Starr Center鈥檚 Explore America program at cultural and political institutions like The Apollo Theater, Society for Women鈥檚 Health Research, and the Library of Congress.
- Work with local non-profits like Chestertown RiverArts or The Mainstay.
- Arrange your own internship experience through your own connections, or by tapping into the Center for Career Development鈥檚 extensive network.

Research
- Engage in a multi-year, mixed-method research project on civic engagement at Washington College. The course is cross listed with the Education Department, and some students have continued to work with faculty beyond the course to hone their research and analytical skills further.
- Create your own research project. Support, financial or otherwise, is available across campus, including through the Hodson Collaborative Research Program or the Cater Society for Junior Fellows.鈥&苍产蝉辫;

- 蜜桃传媒 Film Series 鈥 Each year the CMS film series chooses a theme and screens eight movies that fit the theme
