Welcome, Interim President Bryan Matthews!
ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ has a new Interim President, Bryan Matthews.
Matthews graduated from ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in 1975. An All-American lacrosse player,
Bryan’s skills as a goalie were being noticed even as a freshman. He loved the sport
and his alma mater so much that he came back to coach. His commitment to Washington
College has endured through the decades and generations, as his son was a member of
the Class of 2012.
This won’t be his first time serving in the College’s administration; he worked in
Admissions, Athletics, Administrative Services, Special Projects, and Student Affairs.
We look forward to his coming tenure, safe in the knowledge that this is a person who wants ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ to succeed and endure as much as its faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
