Campus Calls
ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ has its own switchboard, so calls within campus area will be free. From a campus phone, students only have to dial the extension number (four digits) in order to call on campus.
To place calls using a campus phone outside the campus, dial 9 first, and then the intended number.

While it is "mobile phone" in British English, it is "cell phone" in American English.There are four major operators in the United States that offer nationwide wireless services. Two of these (AT&T and T-Mobile) provide service using the standard, while the other two (Verizon and Sprint) primarily use . All four also operate networks using the LTE standard for their 4G services.

There will be an opportunity to purchase a U.S. cell phone during the first few days of International Student Orientation. Using your cell phone will be one way to remain in contact with family back home and friends both on- and off-campus.
