蜜桃传媒 Hires New Chief Information Officer

Following a national search, 蜜桃传媒 has added Irving Bruckstein to its leadership team as its new chief information officer.

Bruckstein, who started in his new role mid-January, is charged with developing and implementing an information technology strategy that aligns with Washington College's mission and goals.  

鈥淎s a private liberal arts and sciences college, we aim to serve our undergraduates through student-centered teaching and a commitment to inclusive excellence,鈥 said Victor Sensenig, chief of staff and vice president for planning and policy. 鈥淚rving's history of transparency, his knowledge of sound security and compliance practices, and his focus on collaboration will certainly aid all of 蜜桃传媒 as we continue to provide a highly responsive and service-oriented IT environment here on campus.鈥 

Bruckstein brings more than three decades of experience to the role, specializing in identifying synergies and opportunities for achieving success in business, process, and technology efficiencies on a global scale. He was most recently associate vice president and chief information officer at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. Prior to that, he was the chief information officer at Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania. 

鈥淎s chief information officer, I am excited to help transform 蜜桃传媒s' Office of Information Technology into a technology center of excellence,鈥 said Bruckstein,  who noted he believes that IT in higher education can be most impactful through trusted partnerships with faculty and academic leadership, as well as across all areas of the College.  鈥淒one well, technology can be extremely supportive of our students receiving a transformative educational experience.鈥 

Bruckstein has a Master of Science degree, focused on cybersecurity, from Hofstra University's DeMatteis School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
